I met Diane and her new husband Ed in gorgeous Gloucester, Massachusetts. They were staying at classic inn overlooking the ocean and when I saw the giant rocks leading down to the water, I knew we were in for a treat.
Prior to the shoot, Diane had mentioned that while they had an intimate wedding back in New York, that Gloucester was their little honeymoon and they wanted some photos to help them remember this momentous time in their lives. For both, it was their second shot at love and as I snapped away, I could see the love they had for one another so clearly.
As they joked, laughed and treasured each other’s company, they told me how they had met. They had known each other for years and while life handed them many twists and turns, they later found one another and built a bond and a blended family.
Their story and deep connection inspired me and encouraged me. It’s truly never too late to find the love of your life. Diane and Ed are shining examples of this and I’m so grateful I had the opportunity to capture it through my lens.
